Repairs, servicing and modifications

Our technicians are amongst the most experienced in New Zealand and are renowned for quality workmanship, a friendly and "can do" attitude.

ACC Clients:

Seating To Go is a preferred provider of repair services to ACC clients in the Waikato, Eastern & Western Bay of Plenty, Lakes and Coromandel regions. Clients have the option of requesting a repair online via Accessable at www.accessable.co.nz, or contacting Seating To Go directly. Being part of our specialist assessment team with our therapists ensures our technicians not only have a high level of product knowledge, but are also aware of the importance of correct set up and configuration of equipment to promote function and prevent injury. We can provide a seamless service from assessment through to repairs and servicing of all your disability equipment.

Ministry of Health (MOH) Clients:

Repairs are provided by Enable New Zealand or their subcontractors. Contact Enable New Zealand on 0800 171995 for further information. Seating To Go technicians will attend to any urgent repairs identified if you are being seen by our MOH assessment service.

Modifications to MOH funded wheelchairs:

Seating To Go technicians are sub-contracted by Enable New Zealand to provide modifications to MOH funded wheelchairs for people in the Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Lakes and Coromandel regions.  This requires a request from a credentialed Wheeled Mobility and Postural Management assessor. The assessor needs to ensure that specific details of the modification are included on the request form. Parts required for the modification need to be purchased as a Service Request via Enable New Zealand. The Seating To Go technicians are not expected to make clinical decisions but are happy to work with therapists to find a solution. In some instances, this may require a joint visit.

The Technician Service form is on the disability funding website:
